Admission rules & regulations

F.Y.B.A. : Higher Secondary (10+2) pass with any stream or Diploma in Home Science or Pharmacy.

F.Y. B.Sc. : Higher Secondary (10+2) pass with Science, or Diploma in Pharmacy.

Requirements

Application forms are available at the office counter during working hours to be filled before each term.

The applicants will be required to submit the following certificates in original with two attested copies along with the application form in the first term :

1. Passing certificate of 12th class or its equivalent.
2. Marksheet of 12th class or its equivalent.
3. Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate OR the NOC and TC in case of students coming from another college.
4. Character Certificate.
5. Eligibility Certificate in case of students migrating from another university.
6. Two Copies of Passport size Photograph.
7. Blood group and fitness Certificate

Refund of Fees

    Full term fee is refunded in case of death of the student concerned.

Refund of full fees (deduction of Rs. 25-00) is made in case of: (1) transfer of student/parent to another city, (2) marriage of girl student, (3) admission of student to any professional course, (for A & B) if demanded within 30 days of the payment of fees.

In other cases, Tuition Fees (including laboratory Fee, if any) is refunded after deducting Rs. 100-00 if the student applies within 10 days from the date of the payment of fees or the last date fixed for the payment of the fees by the college, whichever is earlier.

Caution Money, laboratory deposit and 50% library deposit is refunded to the student on reproducing the receipt within one month.

Medium of Instruction

    The medium of instruction is Hindi in the Arts faculty, though the students are permitted to write their exams in English and Gujarati also. Question papers are supplied in all the three languages.

The medium of instruction is English in Science faculty, though the students are allowed to write their exams in Hindi and Gujarati in First year.
