Admission Rules
Foundation Course
Completed 17 (seventeen) years of age on the date of application for examination.
Passed the senior secondary school examination under the 10 + 2 scheme of H.S.C., G.C.D, or approved for these exams and awaiting results.
Intermediate Examination
He/She has passed the foundation Course Examination of I.C.W.A OR
He/She is graduate from any university or equivalentI. C. W. A. Coaching
The Institute was constituted by an Act of Parliament in the year 1959. It has its Head Quarter at Kolkatta and four Regional Offices at Delhi , Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkatta, there are chapters located all over India. The Institute imparts training, conducts examinations.One is required to pass foundation course (if not graduate) Intermediate and Final Examinations conducted by the Institute and also possess practical experience of 3 years to become an associate Member of the Institute.
A Member can practice as a cost Accountant after obtaining a certificate of practice ( COP ) from the Institute. Practicing cost Accountant can undertake assignments Such as
- Cost audit under section (233 B) of the companies Act 1956
- Certification of costs and other data as required by Govt. authorities e.g Dept. of Excise, customs, BICP, etc.
- Excise audit under section 14 a and 14 AA
- Consultancy assignments in areas like
- System and Procedure study.
- Internal Audit and Management Audit.
- Management consultancy
- Direct and Indirect Taxation.
- Company Law Matters, etc.
It is compulsory for a student to obtain a Coaching Completion Certificate (C.C.) Tolani Oral Coaching Centre for ICWA at Tolani Commerce College.
Adipur conducts oral coaching classes for foundation course & Intermediate.
Examination Center
The examination is conducted by ICWA – KOLKATTA every year twice in June & December at various centers all over the country, including Ahmedabad & Baroda in Gujarat.Admissions every year in January & July.
